Work Towards Better Balance

Our Divine Download for August 30, 2024 is Ten of Fire from The Guardian Angel Messages Tarot. In other tarot interpretations this would be the ten of wands, ten of spring, ten of Archangel Gabriel. Whatever way you slice it, this is a card that talks about an energetic imbalance in your life that can come from being overworked, which leads to being over stressed and can even lead to stress related health concerns. And that's no good. The Guardian Angels caution us to invest our energy in a more balanced way and remind us that all work and no play makes us dull boys and girls. Even if it seems like it is necessary (Hint: it never its!) or is expected of us (Hint: the expectations placed on us by others are a them problem, not an us problem), this card showing up for us now is showing up to tell us that what IS absolutely necessary for us right now is to invest our energy in something, ANYTHING other than work or stress. There's no prize at the end of the day, or at the end of our lives for who worked the most or who was the biggest workaholic. Especially if you are using work, or over work to avoid dealing with or thinking about certain other stressors in your life, you are being put on notice that this will not work for you any longer and it is essential for your health, your well being, and your personal and spiritual growth to find another, different way of dealing with your stress. Because working so much is only actually compounding all of the stressors in your life, especially those that you were originally trying to escape from. Do whatever you need to do to shift the focus away from work and stress and to invest your energy and your time in something, anything, which will bring you better work/life balance, and help to lower the stressors in your life.
