Our Divine Download for September 7, 2024 is Surrender Your Fear of Intimacy from The Power of Surrender Cards. This card gently nudges you "You are ready to let love in. Compassionately identify - and begin to release - any patterns that stop you from opening your heart." We often shy away from intimacy, true intimacy, because if we are intimate, we will also be vulnerable, and we don't want to be vulnerable. But this card comes up for us today to let us know that it is safe for us to let go of the fears we may have associated with intimacy and vulnerability. This is our sure fire sign that the person that we are considering letting our guard down with is a safe choice for us to be vulnerable and intimate with. What fears do you have that are blocking you from experiencing true intimacy in your relationships? What fears do you have that are blocking you from opening your heart? Fear stands for False. Evidence. Against. Reality. or False. Evidence. Appearing. Real. and fear is a liar. Often times there is nothing to fear and our ego is just doing it's ego thing trying to keep us safe, but it does that by essentially lying to us and telling us that we are not safe, when in fact we are. Always ask yourself if it is ego or intuition from which a message or a feeling stems. When you are willing to surrender your fear of intimacy and let people in to know you, to truly know the real you, that is when you are best able to live your authentic life. Be willing to release anything that holds you back from that, and any and all patterns that are blocking your authenticity. Authenticity and Intimacy often go hand in hand.
