Our Divine Download for September 8, 2024 is Surrender Comparisons With Other People From The Power Of Surrender Cards. This card guides us to "Keep your eyes trained on yourself. Focus on your own strengths, attractiveness, and power." Oooooohhhhhh, this is a big one in the age where social media runs rampant. Here's the thing: those pictures you see other people posting on social media, there's at minimum often more to them than what meets the eye, and in some worst case scenarios, they're absolutely bullshit. It does you no good whatsoever to compare yourself to anyone else, because you're simply NOT anyone else, and you never will be. #facts You are here to live YOUR most authentic life, and you do that by being unapologetically you and focusing on all of the magnificent things that you have to offer and what you have to bring to the table. Is it likely that your life will look exactly like someone else's life? Probably not. Thank goodness! Because behind every picture, every post, there are a million details of which you are unaware and wouldn't necessarily want to take on, live through, or deal with. Comparing yourself to anyone else only serves to make you feel inferior and frustrated. Instead of the energy of comparing yourself to someone else, and possibly causing yourself to feel inferior for what you do not have or are not doing, celebrate yourself. Celebrate your successes and your accomplishments. (Yes, you absolutely DO have some. You have MANY. #facts) The more that you can talk yourself up, out loud, to yourself, telling yourself how proud you are of yourself for all that you do and all that you are, the more you will be and the more that you will have. This is how the law of attraction works! So no more doom scrolling for comparison's sake. Invest in yourself. Love yourself. Celebrate yourself. Nothing that you do will ever have a greater ROI.
