Scorpio is a water sign that is often misunderstood simply because it is so deep, and the depths of the waters can be too dark to see into or through. Water corresponds with our emotion and in the same way, our emotional depths can be too deep to see into or through. This card is telling us that it is time to let someone, or maybe everyone see something that you have kept hidden within your emotional depths. With the Last Quarter Moon, there is also a suggestion that this is something to bring up and into the light to be released with the forthcoming full moon. Why do we hide our emotions from people? Why do we label our emotions as "good" or "bad," "positive" or "negative?" They are a part of us, and they aren't anything other than what they are. They don't need to be labeled or explained or justified. Just let them be what they are. They also don't need to be shoved down into the depths of our beings, never to be shared, never to see the light of day, or our awareness. If more people talked openly and honestly about their emotions, we would destigmatize our emotions and our emotional experiences to a vast degree. But we hide from sharing and we try to hide from our own emotions. Given that they are a part of us, that never really works out all that well for us. And it shouldn't! It simply isn't how it is supposed to be. It's like Shrek said "Better out than in!" Share the emotional parts of yourself. Bring them to light. Invite a little bit of emotional vulnerability into your life. Things will flow better and easier through the entire depths of your being once you do.
