Reflect Towards Enlightenment

Our Divine Download for March 10, 2025 is Waxing Gibbous/Reflection from the Cosmic Magic Oracle. The Waxing Gibbous stage of the moon is the 4th stage of the moon, before it is fully illuminated, and the perfect time for us to pause and reflect on what we have accomplished or may not have accomplished, and even simply what has transpired since the New Moon, or even the last Full Moon. The term waxing means increasing, and the term gibbous means “humped-back.” Therefore, this phase is called Waxing Gibbous because the surface area of the Moon that you see is increasing and the shape of the lit-up part of the Moon looks like a hump-back. This also is a good point to reflect about what proverbial "humps" you may be carrying (usually unnecessarily) on your back. The Full Moon will bring full illumination to any issues that need to be addressed, but any inner reflection that we have will allow us to be in a better place, a better state to more easily release any proverbial humps that no longer serve us once the moon does hit full illumination. This period of reflection also gives us the ability to check in with ourselves and course correct anything that may not have been going as we may have wanted it during the most recent lunar cycle. There is great power in awareness and through accurate inner reflection we can harness this truest form of power which will allow us to move forward in ways that will be easier, smoother, and usually defy our expectations. Reflection isn't always easy or fun, especially when we're not 100% proud of or comfortable with what we find reflected back at us, but being willing to face those less illuminated, shadowed sides of ourselves, is ultimately extremely empowering because we can only change what we are willing to recognize and acknowledge. Reflect with grace. Neither reflection or illumination are gifted to us as a means to beat ourselves up.
