Our Divine Download for July 5, 2024 is Friendship from the Messages From The Mermaids Oracle. There has been a big marcocosmic theme thus far in 2024 about not only friendships, but relationships of all kinds. Regardless of if they are romantic in nature, friendships, acquaintanceships, familial, or any other types of relationships, we are being pushed out of our comfort zones and pushed out of our patterns of complacency to really, truly examine if those relationships still work in our lives and if they do how they work in our lives, what purposes they serve, and if they may need to be readjusted. We are being encouraged, pushed even, to re-evaluate where our energy goes and where it is and is not paying off the dividends that we are seeking. It doesn't matter if you have been friends with someone for all of time, or for your whole (or most of your) life. If when you interact with that person you feel drained, or like you don't want to live anymore, it is probably not the safest or wisest choice for you to be investing your energy in that person. Maybe they even need you to step back a little so that they can sit with their own stuff, do their own inner work, and grow. We can still love people with our whole hearts, but sometimes the healthier choice is for us to love them from a distance. Also, where do you fall on your best-friend-o-meter? Hint: you should be at the very tippy top. You HAVE to be your own best friend first because if you do not treat yourself as a cherished friend, you aren't going to teach people how to treat you properly. How will you show up for yourself today like you would expect your best friend to show up for you?
