Prioritize Your Joy!

Our Divine Download for November 6, 2024 is Hathor/Joy from The Legendary Ladies Goddess Deck. Hathor is an Egyptian Goddess of love and joy, considered the Golden One, and she appears to usher in a new era of celebration and joy! Hathor also assures you that you WILL find happiness if you decide to pursue the avenue that you're contemplating. So if "Hooray!" hasn't been a word that you've utilized much in your life of late (or ever), that's about to change in a big, bold, beautiful way and you may see yourself exclaiming "Hoorays!" all over the place! And won't that be a both a refreshing and a wonderful change?! We are here on the Earth plane, incarnate in human form at this time to be in joy. If you cannot remember the last time that you truly felt joyful, then it's simply been too long. Joy should be the rule in our life, not the exception. But here's the challenge: we do not live in a society that is geared towards finding, embracing, and celebrating joy. Rather we live in a society where the news and social media outlets participate in a fair amount of fear mongering and focus nearly exclusively on the negative (or anti-joy) with the exception of the very rare and super occasional special interest story thrown in. So we have to commit to looking for, finding, and focusing on our own joy. Which means that we first have to figure out what it is that does bring us joy. When we've become disconnected from our joy for a prolonged period of time, that isn't always super easy or super apparent to us. And that's okay. That simply means that we get to try different things on for size in order to see whether or not it brings us joy, or if it still brings us joy. If it doesn't, that's no big deal. Because then we simply try something else and we rinse and repeat until we find what works and what does bring us joy. And we invest in that. We prioritize that. We decide right here, right now, that there WILL absolutely be MORE joy in our lives, effective immediately!
