Prayer Is A Multifaceted Process

Our Divine Download for October 19, 2024 is Pray from The Indigo Angels Oracle Cards. Prayer is something that we can often get a little confused on or about, and sometimes we even manage to get kinda backwards. This is largely because organized religion sells the idea of prayer, but usually the way that it is "suggested" or sold is that we should only pray for what we really, truly need, especially when things are going wrong in our lives. Bullshit. We need to be talking to, communing with Spirit (God, Angels, the Divine, the Universe - however we define it) EVERY single day, about ALL of the things. Every. Single. Day. Without fail. We should be asking/wishing/praying for EVERYTHING that we want, ALL of the time. We should be expressing gratitude for ALL that we have, ALL of the time. We should be bringing our concerns and frustrations to the universe, and raging against the proverbial machine, out loud, every time we have one of those "WTF" types of days - because that energy is simply too heavy for us to keep it inside of us. It blocks our blessings from having the necessary space to land and it allows us to exercise our throat chakras which is almost always much needed. BUT, the other thing that we are often missing is the SECOND step in the process. Prayer/wishing/asking is the FIRST step. But the second step is meditation, because that is where we create the time and space for the Divine to answer us. So if this TWO step process isn't something that you are or have been doing every single day, start. Immediately. As in TODAY. And watch all of the miraculous manifestations that you are co-creating with the universe to unfold around you. Because they absolutely will!
