Play Time!!!

Our Divine Download for July 25, 2024 is Play Time! "The dolphins know the importance of playing, as joy creates miracles and manifestation." from the Magical Mermaids Oracle Cards. We started with a message focused on the importance of joy and playing, and we're ending here (for this particular deck) as well. What does it mean to you to play at this stage of your life? How long has it been since you've really allowed yourself to have the joy of playing? (Hint: if you have to think about it, it's been too long!) When things don't seem to be going right or going well for us, play is usually the first thing we drop from our overburdened schedules like a hot potato. But, it is also the very thing that we need the most. Play is a vehicle to both joy and manifestation. It isn't to say that you can't or won't get to joy and manifestation without play, but it sure will take you a lot longer without the necessary vehicle. (Think walking versus driving a car). Play isn't optional. It isn't the "when I get time, then I'll play..." type of priority. In fact, if we all leaned into play a little more, a little harder, and a bit better, we would find that all of the other things in our lives would likely work much better and things would be simpler and easier. If you don't know what play means for you right now or how play needs to look for you at this moment, give yourself permission to experience the joy of discovering that (or rediscovering that!) That will bring you joy and can be a playful activity in and of itself. If things that used to feel like play to you no longer do, that's no big deal. You just try to play another way, a different way. As we grow and evolve through life, the things that once felt like play to us may not always, and that's okay. Allow yourself the joy of rediscovering this playful part of yourself.
