Our Divine Download for November 19, 2024 is Honeybee/Navigate By The Sun from The Illustrated Beastiary. Honeybee flies a zigzag path, searching for patches of pollen. When she finds one, she flies home to the hive where she dances to let others know the pollen's location. Honeybee is efficient in this aerial charade, showing with her body the exact angle the sun hits the pollen patch. Her sisters triangulate the location so that they can join in the feats. Bess' internal compass I incredibly accurate. She can find the sun, even on a cloudy day. The sun has traditionally represented expansive, moving energies - our passions and our ability to make those passions manifest int he world.
