Lightning Illuminates Great Change

Our Divine Download for June 16, 2024 is Lightning/Disruption from The Signs Of The Times Oracle. This card can signify shocking change, and act of God, enlightenment (see what they did there?! ) or unpredictability. Like a flash of lightning that illuminates the night sky without warning, this card wants you to not just expect the unexpected but embrace it. The unknown and unanticipated cause many people to fear the worst, but that is not always the case. This is the card of events happening suddenly, out of the blue. A single sentence can reveal information that changes everything, or you could turn around and have a life-altering experience right on the sidewalk or in your own kitchen. These moments are a shock to the system - whether positive or negative. Since you can't plan for surprises by definition, this card is a lesson in the unpredictable nature of life. Not all disruption is bad or needs to have a negative connotation. Disruption is sometimes necessary to cause us to course correct and to really get our attention. Often the Universe will first try to send us more subtle signs and messages and when those go unacknowledged, only then will lightning strike. Although conventional wisdom is that lightning will not strike twice, the reality is that when it is necessary, it absolutely will. It will strike and illuminate until we get the message. Also keep in mind that shocking change does not necessarily have to be negative either. It is all a matter of perspective and how we choose to interpret these signs and signals in our own lives.
