Our Divine Download for July 17, 2023 is Heart Chakra from The Psychic Tarot. We all know that our heart chakra is located in the very center of our chest and governs our heart and associated organs (like our lungs) as well as our emotions (yup, ALL of them. Not just love). The Heart Chakra card comes up for us because our hearts, and our heart chakras could use a little bit of attention and seemingly a lot of healing. Everywhere we look in this day and age there seem to be heartbreaking things happening. Our own hearts have taken a lickin' with everything that has happened over the course of the past few years, not only with the pandemic and all of the associated loss (we ALL lost something during that time), and even before that with the social and political unrest and divide that has been escalating (and arguably continues to do so). Our hearts crave peace, unity, and acceptance, as well as love. There is seemingly a shortage of all of these things in the world in which we live. So what can we do about it? We can show up and show love and acceptance to ourselves and promote unity over division in our own lives, and promote peace through love in our lives and in our world. We can make it a priority to be the change that we wish to see in the world. But it all starts with us. With how well we can love ourselves and care for our own hearts and flow with our own emotions. It's not always easy, and it certainly isn't always pretty, but it is so very, very important. Love yourself first. Love yourself best. Connect with your heart and your heart chakra and use it as your best and most accurate compass to move you forward in life.
