Justice, Fairness, and Better Balance Ahead

Our Divine Download for May 17, 2022 is Ma'at from the Legendary Ladies Goddess Deck. Ma'at is the Egyptian goddess of Justice. She rules over all things related to truth and justice and she appears for you to reassure you that you'll be gaining fair treatment for whatever you're seeking. Justice can be a tricky concept because justice simply isn't ever one size fits all. What may feel like justice and feel balanced and fair to one person may feel absolutely the opposite to another person. So may different factors go into our own personal constructs of justice, fairness and balance, and certainly this is true of what we may consider societal justice as well. Ma'at holds a scale, showing balance, representing justice, but there is a feather on her scale alerting you that there are sometimes unseen forces shifting the balance of would-be justice, and those unseen forces can be not only unseen, but when and if they are ever made known may seem minute, or unsubstantial. But this is our reminder that justice isn't always just what meets our naked eye and often there are additional factors at play. When we are seeking better justice and more fairness, it is important to do so from a pure heart space where we can ask for win-win type solutions which will be for the greatest and highest good of all involved. In the long term, it is these types of win-win solutions which will create the most balance in our lives as well as the lives of others. Prepare for better balance, more fairness, and better more accessible justice in your life.
