Our Divine Download for November 17, 2024 is Barn Owl/Listen For Spirit from The Illustrated Beastiary. Barn Owl has long been a messenger between the worlds, bringing word from the realm of spirits and ghosts. Barn Owl hunts even on the darkest nights, her ears picking up the small chattering of mice and the soft sound of grass brushing against a rabbit's skin, or maybe she simply sense their souls as they go about their nightly business. "Close your eyes," Barn Owl whispers, "and open your ears to the sound of spirit." Sometimes in order to strengthen one sense, we need to dampen another. We're very used to approaching the world through our eyes. We often need to "see it with our own eyes" in order to believe. Barn Owl reminds us that signs isn't the only way to connect. Intuition and inner-knowing can't be seen with your eyes. So, how do you define what's real for you? Does your intuition have a seat at the decision-making table? (Hint: it should be at the head of the decision-making table!) How do you work with the information you receive in dreams and meditation? Insight is not a lightbulb that goes off inside our head. It is a flickering candle that can easily be snuffed out (according to Malcolm Gladwell, author of Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking.") Barn Owl reminds you to connect with and find guidance in the whisperings of spirit that live within your own heart. This can be practiced through simple meditation journeys.
If the thought of successful meditation journeys send you reeling, a Meditation & Me Session will help you train, strengthen, and harness the unlimited power of your own mind. Schedule Your Meditation & Me Session TODAY: Book Your Session HERE!
