"Life is all about coming back home to ourselves over and over again no matter how far away we stray from our core self. We can always return. As I forgive myself, I gather the necessary energy needed to choose to come home to me." Life presents myriad circumstances and situations which can cause us to lose or forget parts of ourselves. It is natural and it is normal to lose or forget part of ourselves in response to certain situations, circumstances, and stressors. But that doesn't mean that those parts that might have been lost or forgotten have to remain so permanently. Especially those parts of ourselves that are core parts of us. We have the ability, and the inner knowledge and wisdom to pull those parts back in at any given time. One of the big keys for us is to not beat ourselves up when those temporary losses or misplacements of elements of self happen. That doesn't add anything to the situation, and it certainly doesn't help. So let it go. Let yourself off the hook. Take those parts of yourself back. Enjoy getting to know the full scope of yourself again. Enjoy the adventure that the reintregration process presents. Nothing ever has to be all or nothing. And that is especially true for us, and all of the marvelous and wonderful aspects of ourselves and our personalities. So give yourself some grace. It is much easier to enjoy the ride called life when you do!
