Clarity Leads To Easier Waiting

Our Divine Download for December 30, 2023 is Defense/Eihwaz from The Rune Cards. This Rune speaks to the difficulties that can arise at the beginning of a new life (how appropriate following yesterday's card!) Often it can announce a time of waiting - the kind of waiting that might accompany waiting for a spring to fill up with water or for fruit to ripen on the vine. Cyclical type of waiting. Seasonal type waiting. Perseverance and foresight are called for here. The ability to foresee consequences before you act is the mark of a particularly wise and sincere person. You can then avert anticipated difficulties through right choices and actions. We are always deciders more than doers (in that sometimes it may take us a hot minute to actually get around to doing something that we have decided to do). Once the decision is clear, the doing becomes effortless, for then the universe supports and empowers our actions. Decisions made through our heart and with our intuition are much clearer than those made with our ego and thinking based minds which often muddy things up. Receiving the Rune of Defense puts you on notice that through difficulties and discomfort, growth is promoted. This may well be, or have been a trying time, but it is also a meaningful one. So get your house in order, tend to business, be clear, and wait on the will of heaven. If there are obstacles in your path, consider that a delay may prove beneficial. Do not be overly eager to press forward, for this is not a time or situation in which you can make your influence felt. Sometimes things just need to play out as they are meant to.
