When was the last time that you connected with your own center? Guess what? That always small much ignored space within you - yeah, it's a really big deal. All self-healing ripples outward from this small, still place. When you pay it some attention, when you make conscious choices from this central place, when you allow your awareness to exist here, it will guide you and those healing steps and ripples will always flow outward. Too often, we think that the shifts that we need to make in our lives, on our healing journeys, need to be great big grand deals. That they must always move mountains and be nothing short of momentous. But, this is your official reminder that often the smallest shifts and changes are those which are the most meaningful and create the longest lasting ripples. We live in a super sized society that promotes the "go big or go home" ideal at every given opportunity. But, this is your sign to go small, go subtle, and go inward. And notice those ripples. Feel them radiate out from your center. Feel the shift as it moves and grows within you. It's time to drop your pebble in the pond of your life and begin to make these centered, small, meaningful changes. Self-care is calling you out in this way. In order for meaningful changes to take place, they need to begin with properly placed shifts. These shifts come from, and are inspired from the whispers of our true center, which will partner with our intuition as our true north in the compass of our lives. Properly placed shifts, inspired in this way, no matter how small, create concentric circles of effect which amplifies outward as it creates change. What starts small and simple often grows and blossoms in the most beautiful way. This is especially true when these are centered focused changes. When you are not feeling particularly centered, when you are feeling stuck and ineffectual, reflect on what ripples emanate from the pebble that is you? Desmond Tutu said "Do your little bit of good where you are; it's those little bit of good put together that overwhelm the world." Find your center and ripple outward. Embrace the whispers of the quietest guidance and the flow of the small ripples as they grow louder towards meaningful change.
