There's a big ol' difference between being assertive and being aggressive and it's a difference that is often overlooked. So often we think we're asserting ourselves when we're just being flat out aggressive. We don't need to be aggressive in order to assert ourselves. In fact, aggression contradicts true assertiveness. When we are confident in asserting our own power and connected to the fact that all of the power of the universe courses through our veins, there's not only no need to be aggressive, but there's truly no room for that type of energy.
