Accept & Surrender To What Is

Our Divine Download for September 14, 2024 is Accepting What Is "I accept and embrace my inner majesty" from The Gateway Oracle Cards. There are so many things in our lives that we don't choose to accept or embrace, for whatever our reasons may be, and that is the root cause of so much of our suffering. When we can lean into acceptance, we can also therefore lean into surrender, and there is great power, infinite power, in the acts of acceptance and surrender. Sometimes we confuse these concepts and we tend to believe that when we accept certain things or we surrender to our circumstance, that we are there by condoning them. We can always accepts how things are, when they are not how we would choose them to be, without condoning them. No one ever said that we have to like the things that we choose to accept and surrender too. But, it is in fact a choice to do so. The path of peace is paved in acceptance and surrender. When we focus on acceptance and surrender, we also become acutely aware of those things which are within our sphere of influence (and therefore our control) and those which are not. When we can lean into and put our energy into and behind those things that are within our sphere or influence, we step more meaningfully not only into our own power, but into connection with and the flow of the divine.
